Nitro Dusk
★★★★☆ 4.2
Nitro Dusk goes for pure arcade thrills rather than simulation, and it knows exactly what it is. The cars drift with a satisfying weight, the neon tracks look great, and the sense of speed is strong without becoming disorienting.
By default it uses tilt steering, which I found twitchy. The good news is the settings menu offers button controls and a steering sensitivity slider. Switching to buttons and nudging sensitivity down made the whole game click for me.
This is the heaviest game on battery in our current list. The detailed lighting pushes the phone hard, so I capped the resolution scale and turned off motion blur. Even then, plan on charging after longer sessions.
